Yesterday I had my third birthday party. We had it in the backyard, with sprinklers, a kiddy pool and a slide I got from Meme and Da. I loved running around, eating cup cakes and opening presents.
Here I am with Grammy just before the party

We’re going to need a bigger pool next year

It was a great party!
Baby sister will be here in one month, so I’ve been practicing being a big sister. It’s going to be fun. Here I am reading to my baby dolls.

I went to a shower for little sister at Mommy’s work. It was like a birthday party, which I really like. I enjoyed standing in front of everyone and calling out what Mommy opened…”It’s diapers!” Daddy said everyone said I stole the show.
Here I am with Mommy and Meme.

I had a great summer…
Grammy and Pawpaw had a “summer camp” for us. Ginger and I had fun
I spent a lot of time with Jacob at Meme and Da’s

Here I am sliding with Uncle Matt at Jacob’s birthday party

There was the Aquarium, Stone Mountain, Lake Lanier Islands and, of course, my first surgery.
I had my tonsils and adenoids taken out
. I feel much better now though, so it was worth it. Here I am moments after the surgery. Pretty sad looking, aren’t I?
There was a silver lining. I got to eat all kinds of sugary foods I normally don’t get, including this donut the morning after surgery. The sugar perked me right up.
It was a good summer.
I visited the Georgia Aquarium this summer. It’s the biggest in the world. I liked the Aquarium “mascot,” watching people and going up and down the “whale slide.” The fish were pretty cool too.
Here I am with Mommy at the touching pool. See the gray sting ray just below me?
Here’s the first tank of fish. The rest of the aquarium is pretty much a lot of this, only bigger. This tank had a turtle though!
I loved the penguin exhibit, mostly because you get to crawl through a tunnel for a birds-eye view of the…birds. Here I am with Meme and Da
I sat on Daddy’s shoulders in the “tunnel.” You get to see big fish swimming all around

I got to play with sparklers on the 4th of July. Here are a few pictures of me moments before I burned my fingers. Fortunately, it was only a little burn and we all learned a lesson (seriously…hello…Mom and Dad, I’m only 2!).
I visited Stone Mountain for the first time this summer. I loved climbing on the rocks. Hanging out withy my cousins was pretty fun too. Here are a few pictures….

Here I am in the Easter dress Grammy gave me…
(Like the shoes? Me too!)
Hunting Easter eggs at Meme and Da’s. I’m pretty much an expert now. I pick up the egg and shake it for candy. If there’s something there, I stop and eat it. If I don’t hear anything when I shake it, I drop it (on the ground, not in my basket), and move on to the next egg.
Avery and I had a great Easter Egg hunt. Daddy and Mr. Richard hid them for us three different times!
Here we are getting ready to go…
I was playing it cool here, pretending like I didn’t care that much about the eggs, offering some advice, scoping out the yard
I told Avery to look over there and then I made a run for them! So long sucker!!!
To the victor go the spoils…
